Nicole R. Pettis

Nicole R. Pettis joined O’Kelley & Sorohan in 2013 and practices in the firm’s Cobb Galleria office, where she focuses her practice on residential real estate closings. A member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Property Law Section, Nicole also serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association. She is committed to providing knowledgeable, responsive, and approachable service to customers, real estate professionals, and the community.

Nicole earned her B.A. from The Ohio State University, her M.B.A. from Franklin University, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. Before attending law school, Nicole served as a Non-commissioned Officer in the United States Army, where she developed the discipline, leadership skills, and commitment to service that continue to shape her approach to practicing law.

Nicole was drawn to the legal profession because of her passion for solving problems, advocating for others, and helping people navigate complex situations. She enjoys guiding customers through the real estate closing process by providing clear explanations, answering questions, and ensuring they feel confident in one of the biggest decisions of their lives. For Nicole, a closing is more than a transaction—it is an opportunity to build relationships and provide a trusted resource before, during, and after the closing table.

Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her children’s activities, traveling, attending real estate events, and connecting with people in her community. She believes strong relationships are at the heart of real estate and strives to make every customer feel supported throughout their journey.
