John M. Wingate

John Wingate graduated Cum Laude from Young Harris College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in History before earning his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2020. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution, Litigation, and Real Estate Sections.
 
Growing up in Athens with nine siblings, John developed a strong appreciation for hard work, communication, and the importance of helping others. Inspired by a family legacy of professionals—his father is a physician and his grandfather was an attorney—John pursued a legal career with a deep respect for the law and a passion for lifelong learning.
 
John’s favorite part of practicing real estate law is helping customers feel at ease during what can often be a stressful process. Known as a dedicated workhorse, he takes pride in being available for his customers and encourages them to call him anytime with questions—even after closing. He believes the best customer service comes from putting in the work behind the scenes, whether that means arriving early, staying late, or working weekends to ensure every closing goes as smoothly as possible.
 
Outside the office, John enjoys playing golf and tennis, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves, practicing his Spanish, and spending time with family and friends.
