Sherynda L. Patrick

Sherynda Patrick is an Atlanta native who practices real estate law in O’Kelley & Sorohan’s College Park and West End offices. Before focusing on real estate law, she served as both a prosecutor and bankruptcy attorney. Currently, her practice centers around residential real estate closings, investor transactions, title review, and title clearance. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Property Law and Bankruptcy Law Sections and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.
 
Sherynda earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia State University in 2007 and her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2010.
 
For Sherynda, becoming an attorney was a personal challenge that grew into a rewarding career centered around helping others achieve important milestones. She especially enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and witnessing the excitement that comes with achieving the dream of homeownership. Known for being diligent, kind, and accommodating, Sherynda encourages customers to ask questions throughout the closing process and believes every customer should leave the closing table feeling informed, confident, and excited for their next chapter.
 
Outside the office, Sherynda enjoys spending time with her daughters, Cortlyn, and Kamryn, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. One day, she hopes to combine her love of people and books by opening a bookstore and coffee shop on a tropical island, where she would serve as the resident barista.
