Vesela Z. Eminovska

Vesela Eminovska was born in Provadia, Bulgaria. Vesela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Georgia, graduating in 2014. Vesela went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2019. In law school, she served as a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Athens Oconee CASA Program, and Student Advocate for the Family Justice Clinic. Vesela was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2019.

Allison E. Kammeraad

Allison Kammeraad grew up in Flowery Branch, Georgia. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2019, she graduated cum laude and earned her Juris Doctor from The Charleston School of Law. In law school, she was a two-year teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing first-year courses, member of the Moot Court Board, Chairperson of the Honor Council, and Associate Editor-in-Chief for the Charleston Law Review. Additionally, she was selected as a student member for the James L. Petigru Inn of Court. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2019, and she is a member of the Real Property Section and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.

Marko D. Turner

Marko Turner was born in London, England, and grew up in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has lived in Atlanta since 1991. Marko earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1990. He graduated from Emory University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1996. Marko was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2002. Mr. Turner is an attorney in the Litigation section of O’Kelley and Sorohan. He focuses his practice primarily on default legal services, including landlord-tenant cases, representing institutional and individual landlords in eviction matters. Marko has prior experience in community association law, representing real estate developers and homeowner associations; representing institutional lenders in real estate closing transactions; and in providing alternative dispute resolution services through mediation and arbitration.

Andrea M. Hibbert

Andrea Hibbert was born in Bronx, New York. Andrea graduated from New York University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Metropolitan Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall School of Law in 2012. While in Law School, Andrea was appointed Dean’s Fellow for first-year students, earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Pre-Trial Practice & Procedure, and achieved honors in Criminal Law, Professional Responsibility, Evidence I, and Pre-Trial Practice & Procedure. Andrea was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia Bar in 2013. Hibbert is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Default Services Department. She focuses her practice on real estate and commercial litigation, including commercial and residential landlord-tenant law.

Paul A. Hager

PAUL HAGER was born in Cincinnati and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Paul graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, with a B.S.B.A in Accounting in 1987. He was a member of the Sigma Phil Epsilon fraternity.  He then earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University in 1990 and an LL.M. in taxation from Emory University in 1992. He is a member of the Real Property Law Section of Georgia Bar, Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association, and Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association (Associates Council and Membership Committee).

Paul has been married since 1998. He and his wife have 3 children – one boy and two girls. He is passionate about history, college and professional football and lacrosse. He is a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church and served as Finance Chair and Vice President and President of the Men’s Group. Paul spends most of his personal time attending his son’s lacrosse games and his daughters’ many dance performances and competitions.

David A. Strauss

David Strauss was born in Smithtown, New York.  David graduated from North Carolina State University in 2006 with Bachelor of Art degrees in Psychology and Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2011. David is admitted into the State Bar of Georgia (2016), State Bar of North Carolina, and the Federal District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. David is a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association, 400 North Association of Relators, Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association, Atlanta HBA and SMC, the North Carolina State Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Kelly L. Grady

Kelly Grady graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2002. Kelly moved to the Atlanta area where she practiced real estate law for several years before moving to Hilton Head Island, SC.  Eventually, Kelly located to Greenville, SC.  While in South Carolina, Kelly handled residential real estate closings across the state.  Kelly joined O’Kelley & Sorohan in 2012 and practices with the firm’s REO Department.

Joshua D. Huckaby

Joshua Huckaby is the managing attorney for O’Kelley & Sorohan’s litigation, business and family law practices.  Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Huckaby has handled several divorces, child custody disputes, and other family law matters.  In addition to his family law practice, Mr. Huckaby manages the firm’s default services litigation practice. Mr. Huckaby is an active member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association, where he currently serves as Secretary.

Josefina C. Knapp

Josefina Knapp has been a Georgia resident, residing in Alpharetta, for more than 15 years.  In 1993, Ms. Knapp received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University and then went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1996.  Ms. Knapp has been a closing attorney for over 10 years.  Since 2001, she has been with O’Kelley & Sorohan, concentrating her practice in residential real estate.  Ms. Knapp became a Member of the firm in 2006.  She currently manages the firm’s Alpharetta office, in addition to supervising important lender and realtor alliance accounts.
Ms. Knapp is a native Spanish speaker with family roots in Argentina.  She has served as a mentor for the State Bar of Georgia and is an active member of Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (“NAHREP”), the Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition (“GREFPAC”) and the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorney’s Association (“GRECAA”).
In her free time, Ms. Knapp is a multi-sport enthusiast (Triathlons) and has conducted fundraising events for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with their Team in Training programs.

Dell W. Murphy

Dell Murphy primarily focuses her practice in residential real estate closings but has experience in resolving title issues and in dealing with REO transactions, builders and developers.  Prior to joining O’Kelley & Sorohan, Dell was a managing attorney with other firms, served as in-house counsel for a volume residential builder and was an owner and partner in her own firm.

 

Dell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, with a minor in Real Estate from Georgia State University in 1989.  The minor in Real Estate fueled her interest in the field and also allowed her to qualify for and obtain her Georgia Real Estate Broker’s license.  Dell went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall School of Law, graduating in 1992.

 

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Dell has lived in Georgia for over 30 years.  Prior to her law career, Dell was a stay at home mom and has two grown children and four grandchildren. Dell and her husband live in Canton.
